Oban 1972 ‘Spirit of Scotland’ Whisky
A very rare single cask bottle of Oban distilled way back in 1972. You can count indepent bottlings of Oban on one hand making them highly desirable for drinkers and collecters alike. This particular Oban single malt was bottled by Speymaly Whisky Dist. Ltd, aged 17 years.
Nose: Oranges, copper coins, mahogany, leather and a whisp of smoke.
Palate: Dried fruits, butterscotch, ginger, cloves and orange liqueur.
Finish: Long, peppery, orange-y and salty.
