Fable Whisky Chapter Three : Moon – Dailuaine 12 Year Old

An exciting concept from an exciting new bottler: Fable Whisky brings us its first ever installment of intriguing whiskies inspired by Scottish myth and legend.

Chapter Three: Moon is a 12 year old Dailuaine bottled at 54.8% ABV from a single cask.

They say : Light, malty cereal notes and a faint sweetness on the nose. Black pepper, very fruity. Honeyed, sweet mulled cider on the palate with a soft, faint white chocolate note in the finish.

We say : Quite unusual to see Dailuaine from an independent bottler – and this is a beautiful example. There’s some depth to this characterful whisky – whispy herbal notes coming through in the finish for us. A great dram, and a good one to broaden your horizons with if you tend to find yourself reaching for the same Speysiders over and over!
