Lagavulin 8 Year Old Whisky

This youthful Lagavulin is now part of the distilleries core range. An excellent addition, it displays some of the more raw characteristics of the iconic Islay malt.

Nose: Initially a fresh and clean scent, hints of citrus and forest fruits – developing fragrant, peat smoke alongside coastal maritime notes.

Palate: A lagavulin that packs a punch, seaweed and charred oak barrels fill the mouth, all entwined with a sweet nutty and ashy character.

Finish: A refreshing, long and smoky finish. Subtle peat smoke and oily tannins, leaving the palate dry as the sweet smoke lingers.
