Glengoyne 1970 Vintage Reserve Whisky

A limited edition bottle of Glengoyne 26 Year Old Vintage Reserve. This was distilled in 1970, matured in a single cask for 26 years, and bottled on 27 March 1996.

It has notes of demerara sugar, walnuts, sweet pipe tobacco, red apples and cloves while on the palate it is rich with spicy oak burst, then molasses, treacle and liquorice take centre stage.
