Super heavily peated whisky from Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay. Matured exclusively in first fill ex-bourbon casks and peated to an impresssive 156ppm. Octomore 9.1 is the most recent bottling in the series released in September 2018.

Nose: Ash, citrus fruits, seashells and woodspice.

Palate: Big burst of peat, cigars, limes and vanilla.

Finish: Long and super smoky(unsurprisingly).
