Dalmore 21 Year Old 2022 Release

The Dalmore has commited to releasing a series of five annual editions of their 21 Year Old expression as the pinnacle of its celebrated Principle Collection.

This 2022 edition is initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks before transferring for a finishing period in Gonzalez Byass casks which had previously held 30-year-old Matusalem oloroso sherry, and finally bottled at 43.8% abv.

The result is a plethora of aromas ranging from Seville orange, Colombian coffee, rich vanilla and bitter dark chocolate. The palate has sweet liquorice, blackberries, walnuts and marizpan, leading to a finish of peaches, ginseng and more orange citrus.
