Ben Nevis 8yo Oban Whisky & Fine Wines Exclusive

An exclusive single cask Ben Nevis bottled exclusively for Oban Whisky and Fine Wines. Distilled in October 2014 , then poured into a refill bourbon barrel and bottled at eight years old, at natural cask strength, in August 2023, producing only 127 bottles.

This is a classic West Highland whisky. Big maritime notes, pears, plums and a hint of wood smoke. On the palate, typical Ben Nevis. Limes, grapefruit, cereal notes, engine oil, white pepper and a hint of coconut. The finish is quite long, fruity with a nice oaky structure. With just 127 bottles produced, and a serious shortage of Ben Nevis currently, we don’t expect this to hang around long!
