A sensationally rare and special whisky, the 2006 Suntory Yamazaki 35 Year Old was distilled in straight head copper stills between 1966 and 1970. It was then matured in Spanish sherry oak casks with only 200 bottles being produced.
Nose: Linseed oil, paraffin, camphor and oranges
Palate: Very fruity and very sherried, oily on the palate, blackberries, strawberries, honey and ginger.
Finish: Long with forest fruits and herbal tea.
