One of three new official bottlings to make up their core range since being bought and operated by Independent company Elixir Distillers, Tormore 12 Year Old is a refined Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, distilled and matured at Tormore Distillery in Grantown-on-Spey. Matured in a carefully selected combination of bourbon, sherry and toasted American white oak casks, this elegant expression delivers a rich and rewarding flavour profile. Notes of peach crumble and custard are complemented by soft oak spice, vanilla fudge and poached pear with cream, while toasted almond and coconut develop through to a gently warming finish. Smooth, mellow and complex, this is a sipping whisky best enjoyed slowly, rewarding time and attention.
