Tobermory 28 Year Old Single Cask Scotch
This Tobermory single malt has been matured in a combination of red wine casks, resulting in a delicious dram that is extremely vibrant. This rare 28-year-old Tobermory spirit was filled into red wine barriques for a 12 year double maturation by the original Murray McDavid Team, led by Jim McEwan. This is one of the curious Tobermory whiskies, which, when tasting, has light peated notes. Comes with a presentation box with only 573 bottles produced.
Nose: red currants, dark plum, salted caramel
Palate: grilled strawberry, coastal, hint of smoke
Finish: red cherries, sea spray, herbal tea
