This core product from The Thompson Bros is an eight year old blended malt bottled at a generous 48.5%. It is named after Station Road Vat no.5 where the whisky rests for 6 months before being bottled.

Very complex for a relatively young whisky, it offer notes of green fruits, candle wax, crushed peppercorns, lemons with a hint of coastal peat.
