Thompson Bros Benriach 17 Year Old Scotch
A 2007 vintage Benriach bottled after 17 years in a single refill bourbon cask by indy bottlers, The Thompson Bros.
Nose: Dried apricots, ginger spice, honey, fresh lime, smells like it would make a great margarita. Some funk characteristics, too. Kind of like a baby cachaça. Gummy worms.
Palate: Honeyed malt, some stone fruit, green grapes, white pepper and yellow plums.
Finish: Salty and funky on the finish.
