The Cargill Adelphi 5 Year Old Whisky
The Cargill Adelphi 5 Year Old Whisky, a collaboration between Adelphi Selection and the Ardnamurchan and Cardrona distilleries. It’s part of Adelphi’s Fusion series, which combines Scotch and other whiskies to honor Scots who have influenced other countries. This particular blend honors William Cargill, who led Scottish migrants to New Zealand in 1847. The whisky is a mix of Ardnamurchan single malt and whisky from Cardrona, a New Zealand distillery.
The Ardnamurchan whisky is matured in ex-Bourbon barrels and an ex-Pinot Noir barrique, while the Cardrona whisky is matured in ex-Bourbon and ex-Pinot Noir barrels.
Bottled in 2025 at 57.4% with only 1200 bottles produced.
