Royal Brackla 13 Year Old Whisky

A 13 year old whisky from Royal Brackla distillery and bottled by Carn Mor for their ‘Strictly Limited’ range. A rare find indeed as Royal Brackla is usually reserved as a blending malt for Johnnie Walker Gold Label and various Dewar’s blends.

There is a cloudy haze to this whisky due to the fact it is non chill filtered. A traditional method which retains more oils from the cask and therefor more flavour. This is how whisky looks straight out the cask!

Nose: Tropical fruit explosion – Mango, pineapple and pear to name a few

Palate: Raspberry sorbet, american cream soda and toffee with an oily and creamy mouthfeel

Finish: Vanilla sweetness and slight hints of coffee ice cream
