Port Ellen 37 Year Old 17th Release

From Diageo’s 2017 Special Releases range, this is the 17th Port Ellen in the series. It has been matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry for 37 years and bottled at cask strength. Only 2,988 bottles were released.

Nose: Briny peat, coastal sea-breeze, lemon zest, cracked black pepper and hints of grass.

Palate: Slightly floral, oily peat, pears, apples and figs.
