Oban Distillers Edition 2022. Initial aromas of dried fruit figs, raisins, and sultanas give way to the coastal Oban character with sea spray, heather, and a faint brine. There’s also a nutty undertone, with hints of toasted almonds and walnuts. The Montilla Fino finish introduces subtle light sherry notes, baked apples, and a touch of salt. More complex and layered than the standard expression, ideal for fans of nuanced, sherried Scotch with a maritime edge.
