The 2010 single cask release from the highly collectable ‘Easter Elchies’ range.
Those of you in the know will realise that you can almost count the number of official single cask Macallan on one hand. This 1997 distilled sherry bomb has spent 13 years in cask #432 and been bottled at full cask strength 52.3% with only 240 produced. Extremely rare stuff!
Nose: Mollasses, strawberries, Turkish delight, espresso, Havana cigars and figs.
Palate: Dried fruits, figs, black pepper, nutmeg, cedar wood, butterscotch, dark chocolate and wood smoke.
Finish: Incredibly long with delicate sweetness and spice notes.
