The 2024 Lagavulin 12 Year Old Special Release from Diageo. Matured exclusively in first fill bourbon barrels resulting in a whisky that is creamy and really waxy in texture, very sweet to taste at first then quickly drying, with a sprinkling of salt and a controlled smokiness.
