Highland Park 18 year old scotch, known for being deep and intensely fruity but effortlessly smooth, is one of the most highly awarded (and dearly beloved) whisky, and for good reason. With a natural glowing amber colour straight from the cask, it’s a multi-layered whisky with many stories to tell—just like the people who make it.

Nose: A beautifully balanced nose with rich sherry influence. Notes of dried fruit—raisins, figs, and apricots—mingle with honeyed sweetness, dark chocolate, and warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. A gentle waft of heather smoke lingers in the background, alongside hints of orange zest and toasted oak.

Palate: Silky and full-bodied with a wonderful interplay of sweetness and spice. Layers of dark toffee, honey, and dried fruits are complemented by a touch of vanilla and cocoa. The signature Highland Park peat smoke is delicate and heathery, adding depth without overpowering. Mid-palate, there’s a wave of warming spices—clove, ginger, and black pepper—balanced by a subtle citrus brightness.

Finish: Long, smooth, and slightly smoky. The oak influence becomes more pronounced, leaving traces of spice, dark chocolate, and lingering heather smoke. A touch of sea salt adds complexity.
