The Glendronach Peated Port Wood has been inspired by the import of casked Port into Scotland in the 19th Century. The malted barley has been dried using Highland peat and has undergone its final maturation in Port pipes from the Douro Valley, Portugal.
Nose: Marzipan, dates, leather and subtle earthy peat.
Palate: Cranberries, Highland smoke, stewed barley and charcoal.
Finish: Rich and earthy with slight sweet notes.
