Glendronach 23 Year Old Whisky

Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2013, this Glendronach 23 year old whisky is rather unique in that it was matured in Bourbon Hogsheads. This goes against the distilleries usual method of exclusively maturing Whisky in Sherry casks. One of only 534 bottles and bottled at 49.5%abv. Non chill filtered and natural colour. It was bottled by the Scotlands oldest Independent bottler Cadenhead’s.

Nose: Chocolate brownies, green chillies, lemon meringue pie and lemon zest.

Palate: Shorcrust pastry, freshly mown grass, almonds and honey.

Finish: Brown sugar, coffee beans, granita and custard creams.
