A 2009 single cask(#804959) Glenallachie, matured in an oloroso sherry cask for 13 years before being hand filled at the distillery in 2023.
Nose: Hints of baking spice, poached pear and heather honey, with notes of icing sugar, cooked apples and lemon zest.
Palate: Waves of ginger, cinnamon and grilled honeycomb, followed by apple peel, almonds and chocolate.
Finish: Long and spicy with lingering dark chocolate.
