Glenallachie 2005 Single Cask Scotch aged for 19 years in oloroso sherry cask #1409. Bottled at a cask strength of 55.2%, non-chill filtered and natural colour with an out-turn of 370 bottles.
Nose: Treacle, cherry and candied orange, followed by cinnamon buttercream, mocha and crème de cassis, with crystallised brown sugar and plum syrup.
Palate: Dark chocolate, honeycomb and butterscotch, followed by toasted cinnamon, raisin butter and dried red berries, with baking spices and mocha.
Finish: Almost never ending with concentrated dark fruits and sherried sweetness
