Dailuaine 21 Year Old 2025 Special Release is enchanting as the marbled monotypes that adorn precious books. Matured life-long in Spanish Oak ex-Sherry casks, it forms a unique marvel of rich spice and mesmerising complexity.
Nose : Profound aroma with great depth. Begins with a mellow nose-feel, dry and spicy. Opens with Oloroso Sherry, developing into sultanas, roast chestnuts and cherries dipped in dark chocolate.
Palate : Creamy, mouth-filling and drying. Opens lively and sweet, suggesting brown sugar crystals in espresso coffee. Develops intense dried fruits and a dry, spicy pepperiness that spreads across the tongue.
Finish : Long, the spiciness sweetly reminiscent of ginger and gently drying, with a slight hint of flint in the aftertaste.
