Clynelish 20 Year Old 200th Anniversary Bottling
A brand new release from Clynelish, which dosent happen very often…. In the late 90’s, they set aside six European oak Sherry casks to mature for 20 years to celebrate the 200th anniversary in 2019, which was celebrated on the 12th of May. It is a one-off bottling of only 1819 bottles, a nod to when the distillery was established.
Nose: Chocolate, cigars, mint and liquorice.
Palate: Walnuts, earth, oranges, muscovado sugar and pepper.
Finish: Long, clean, fresh and coastal.
