Bruichladdich Micro Provenance Amarone Cask 3357 Whisky
From the unique Micro Provenance range from Bruichladdich Distillery comes this 12 year old whisky that has spent its full maturation in Amarone red wine casks from Italy. It was distilled with Oxbridge barley, a two row variety which usually only requires a short steeping cycle but is rarely used in the whisky industry nowadays. There was 276 bottles produced from cask #3357.
Nose: Blackcurrants, pepper, tea leaves and peaches.
Palate: Waxy with linseed oil, strawberry liqueur, figs and cherries.
Finish: Long and peppery with a hint of menthol.
