Arran Quarter Cask

Arran Quarter Cask whisky selected for this cask strength expression has been initially matured for seven years in first fill bourbon casks before being transferred into smaller 125 litre casks for a further two years to allow for more interaction between the whisky and the wood, resulting in a faster and more intense maturation. This gives Arran Quarter Cask a powerful yet balanced profile, with bold oak influence complementing the distillery’s signature fruity and malty character.

• Nose: Fresh citrus, honey, coconut, vanilla, and toasted oak with hints of spice.
• Palate: Rich and creamy, featuring sweet malt, tropical fruits, caramel, and a touch of peppery spice from the oak.
• Finish: Long and warming, with lingering vanilla, spice, and a slight nuttiness.
