Introducing Whisky Fix Single Cask Exclusives

We are delighted to announce the inaugural release of our very own single cask whiskies. These are obviously exclusive to us and are very limited in quantity. Firstly we have an incredible Laphroaig, which is becoming harder and harder to source as independent bottler, and an amazingly salty Ledaig, which judging by its character, you would think has floated its way over on the water from Tobermory to ourselves here in Oban! All our whiskies are un chill-filtered and natural colour. Full details below!

1. Laphroaig Single Cask Whisky – Specially selected by ourselves for our own single cask range of whiskies. Laphroaig 12 Year Old from a first fill ex-bourbon barrel.

Nose: Tropical fruits, peat smoke, limestone, tarry ropes and oranges.

Palate: Mango, lemons, Havana cigars, green apples and a slight sweetness.

Finish: Long and peaty with orange zest.

2. Single Cask Ledaig – This is a peated 12 year old single malt from Tobermory distillery from a single ex-bourbon cask.

Nose: Malt barn, limes, sea-breeze, peat kiln and almonds.

Palate: Clean, sharp and extra salty with citrus fruits, pepper, peat smoke and liquorice.

Finish: Long and salty.

These are small batch releases from Whisky Fix and thus are very limited in stock.
